Individual Counselling
Individual counselling is a type of talk therapy that involves working one-on-one with a counsellor in a private and confidential setting.
The goal is to help you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and develop strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving your goals.
Our counsellors use various techniques such as talk therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy depending on your needs.
Our counsellors may help identify patterns of thought or behaviour contributing to challenges and provide support and guidance as you work through issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, stress management, trauma, and addiction.
Individual counselling can be a valuable tool for anyone seeking support and guidance in addressing personal and emotional challenges.
Family Counselling
Family counselling is a form of talking therapy that focuses on improving communication, understanding, and relationships among family members.
The goal of family counselling is to help family members identify and resolve conflicts, improve their ability to work together, and develop stronger relationships.
Family counselling may address a wide range of issues, such as parent-child conflicts, sibling rivalry, and communication problems. It may involve individual sessions with family members, joint family sessions, or a combination of both.
Our counsellors may use a variety of techniques and approaches, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, and structural family therapy, among others to help you on your path to well-being.
Out-of-the-box Counselling
At our counselling service, we recognize that everyone is unique, and some may not feel comfortable engaging in traditional two-way conversations to discuss complex issues.
That's why we offer "Out-of-the-box" counselling, which breaks the mould of traditional conversational counselling.
Instead, we use creative activities such as drawing, painting, writing, boardgames, Lego, and stickers to help clients express themselves differently. Lego and sticker work is especially useful for young adolescents and those who find it hard to express their thoughts and feelings. All materials are supplied for the session.
We continuously expand our out-of-the-box options while keeping the client at the centre of the session to achieve a positive outcome.
On-site Support
In some instances, it can be advantageous to have a counsellor onsite to provide support to individual employees or groups of employees.
Sometimes life just happens in a work setting. Organisational changes, like restructures or redundancies, an accident resulting in death or serious injuries, bereavement or terminal illness of a colleague or client, delivering difficult news to employees, or the impact of a large weather event.
Working collaboratively with the organisation's contact/manager, the counsellor will seek to gain an understanding of the circumstances and provide assistance to those affected.
On-site support is a one-time service that is offered in response to a specific workplace situation, with the option of follow-up visits by the counsellor if required.

$120 per 50-minute session (individuals)
$180 per 100-minute session (families)
